"I'm so sad to say that I had a great experience with ICCD up until this point and now I think it's time to share my experience with others so they know what to expect. The doctors themselves are great. Knowledgable and Caring and have provided great treatment. The office/administration staff has always seemed fine in person, but after waiting for almost 6 months for the report from an evaluation, we apparently had a $60 balance on our account (from visits with a different physician than the one who wrote the report). I have a credit card on file and they did not charge it for two visits - for unknown reasons. Instead, after relentlessly following up about not having the report in our hands, which the physician and assistant admitted they were behind in writing, their office admin emailed today that they had the report finally but they cannot release it due to the $60 balance. At 315 in the afternoon. Oh, and the billing office closes at 330. It's so inconsiderate to hold a PAID report over $60 - especially when you have the PAYMENT INFO and have permission to use it! And to not answer the phone when I call to resolve is just the icing on the cake to make my blood boil. It's too bad these amazing doctors have such inconsiderate office and administrative staff - it makes the whole business look bad and frankly, makes me wonder if it's worth the trouble. It has created such a negative experience with me moving forward - I really hope it does get better - or that the office manager sees this and considers getting her staff better training or customer care for their front line folks, who really have a very important job - to make sure we get the information in our hands when we need it!"
"I cannot rave enuf about this practice. Dr.Castro and Dr. Manea have been treating my son for approx. 20 years, and my daughter for about 5.Covid had slowed response time and ability for expediency, bit otherwise no complaints. I'm so thankful for the amazing diagnoses and treatments they have provided us with."
"my two children were evaluated by doctor Castro, they were very well taken care of. all the staff are very attentive. after the diagnosis i needed to talk to doc castro and he kindly called me and gave me the support i needed at that moment. Thank you so much to everyone at ICCD"
"ICCD Partners of Newton have been a godsend for our family. We've been so happy with ICCD and strongly recommend them. The staff is kind, and just sitting in the lobby it was obvious they were completely unfazed by kids with unexpected behaviors - that's their thing. We needed an official diagnosis. ICCD was the top recommendation from our pediatrician. Calling around to all his referrals, ICCD had by far the shortest waiting list, at 4 months, compared to one place that had 1.5 year! (The pandemic backed up a lot of child experts, but 4 months is short even by pre-Covid standards.) It's a 2-hour round trip for us, and worth it. Dr Giancarlo Fusco was our neuropsychologist, doing the testing and diagnosis, and was amazing. He was incredibly kind and good with our kid, even when our kid -really- didn't want to be there doing tests. Dr Fusco is known in the Special Ed community for fast report turnaround, and that was very much our experience. (Fast but very thorough, and he explained it patiently to us, answering our many questions.) We had an urgent insurance issue right before a major holiday, and Dr Fusco helped us deal with it. We are so very grateful to Dr Fusco for all he did for our family. We also see Dr Dianne Coscia, a behavioral developmental pediatrician. Dr Coscia is kind, warm, empathetic, and talks in very approachable language instead of medicalese. She is obviously both smart and intuitive (the kind of intuition that is fed by experience). We feel very comfortable having her advise us on managing our kid's complex situation. In summary, ICCD Partners is an excellent place for child diagnoses, complex pediatric care, and for help with child issues."
"I have had a very horrible experience dealing with this organization. I have called and sent multiple emails trying to get my billing accounts resolved and it took weeks to get any help. The practice manager would not even call me back to see if my situation was resolved. The Billings manager would not email me or call me even after repeated attempts to get her to speak with me. You make payments and have to follow up sometimes for several days to even get a receipt and statement to ensure that you can timely file claims for reimbursement with the insurance company. This is the absolute worst organization and I deeply regret bringing my son to this place. Today is the deadline I have to file a claim and no statement or receipt even after multiple emails and phone calls over the past couple of days. I almost sound crazy trying to get them to do the most basic thing. Deal with this organization at your own risk. They simply donโt care."
