"They sent the bill for my son's appendectomy to the wrong insurance and then sent it to collections after treating me like a deadbeat. When I called the number listed on Google to try to clear things up, the call goes straight to the ER. Now my insurance has paid them after I paid off the collection, meaning they owe me money and of course now they won't return my calls."
"Totally dishonest. Their members cover multiple emergency departments in the New England area. What they don't tell you is that their members do not participate in many insurance plans. What a surprise, you go to the ED for care with what you think is adequate insurance and you get stuck with a huge balance bill afterwards. It's not like you have a choice at 2 AM to go to your personal physician who takes your insurance for care. They are then the first to contact some black hooded collection agency to get their pound of flesh. The worst customer service as well, not caring. The bottom line rules."
