"Needs intense oversight : due to elderly dementia patient unsafe at home alone. Namely, nurse case mgr not filling out attorney paperwork for family member, so nurse relative can be legal guardian; bills lag, oil fill not done, meds not filled or being taken properly, appts not done yet billed, patient disoriented and hospital stay x2 mos. as a result when rescue liaison found patient disoriented at home, called to do well check. Unbelievable."
"As you can see from all the reviews - don’t even bother. I was a patient there for years but my provider left. She was the only reason I stayed, and now that she’s gone, so am I. For one, they NEVER picked up the phone for me or even called back if I left a voicemail. Impossible to connect with them unless you’re physically there. If I could leave 0 stars I would."
"Horrible is all I can say. Called me on a Friday to let me know the entire staff was going on a conference for two weeks and to let them know now about Med refill requests. Unfortunately I was at work until 5 (they close at 3:30) and I had no idea my BC needed a new order. Cue TWO WEEKS without my birth control despite leaving a message requesting their on call Dr call me back or send in the order.. nope had to call them again to please refill it once they were all back in office. Then caught Covid and needed a drs note to return to work because my symptoms were so bad for so long. They don’t do telehealth appointments and in fact didn’t have ANY appointments for me to be seen “for months”. Add to that the receptionists extremely rude attitude and calling me “MA’AM” in the most disrespectful tone. Why do I have a PCP if I can’t go there when I’m sick. So had to drive all over to find an urgent care while I’m sick with covid, they had no worries for me potentially getting others sick too. Will NEVER go back there. Also have family who go and are thinking of switching too because the care is terrible"
"I have been coming to Brookside for a little over 2 years and my DR. is Jenna Bouthilier. I love her because she takes her time and is very caring and will go over your chart with you every year. And will answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend her. However this year I got another Dr. because apparently Jenna is on maternity leave and as soon as I entered the office the whole atmosphere and the tension got pretty heavy. The receptionist was very blunt, no greetings or a good morning and quickly direct me to check in online. Then I got Dr. Deidra and she was all over the place, I was so disappointed. I wont get into the details of my visit but It felt rushed. Now I am trying to get my son an appointment with Dr. Jenna, I have called the office twice and left message and no one has reach out."
"Never had a place switch doctors on you without asking or even notifying you that your doctor is out. My initial visits here I thought I was seeing Amanda Blanchard who I requested. Turns out they rescheduled me to a totally different doctor without checking with me first and never told me. Also the doctor they had me seeing was just pill happy and try to prescribe me a pill for every issue I had instead of getting to the root cause. Then recently, I have always seen female doctors and when a bunch of Dr’s left, I just requested that my new doctor be a female. They had to reschedule one of my appointments and rescheduled me to a male without telling me or checking if that’s ok. I’m not comfortable being seen by a male. I also didnt find out I was being seen by one until legit sitting in the office waiting for the doctor to come in when the nurse told me his name. I was livid. It’s one thing to give me another female if my doctor is out but to have me be seen by a male without checking with me is just unacceptable."
