"I’ve come to the store several times now to bring clothes every time I’m here they will never take them. They want you here at 10 o’clock. Lady tells me to come before noon. I drive 50 miles round-trip to this place three times and all times I can’t take me I got here at 10:30 in the morning and they’re telling me they’re not taking clothes after the other day they told me to come at that time. I feel they are unprofessional and they don’t answer their phone when you call.. I have really nice clothes."

I’ve been looking all week for something to wear, and I found everything I needed in one place! Karen let me hold a dress until I could come back and finish shopping, and Cheryl even pulled clothes off the display for me. The service is friendly and superior, and the clothing is high quality. I cannot thank them enough!"

It’s like shopping in a huge walk-in closet with not only shoes and clothes for every size but also, luxury bags, jewelry and sunnies! There is something for everyone here and like the store itself, owner Cheryl is gem! She’s like a ray of sunshine always smiling and immediately putting you at ease by calling you “luvie”. I have been a patron since 2015 and it’s no surprise that Blackbirds is a 5x winner of the Providence Journal’s “Best Consignment Shop” and 3x winner of Best of Rhode Island!"

"I made an appointment over THREE weeks ago. When I arrived for my appointment, I was NOT greeted with a hello and there was about FIVE different women, so I did not know who was the worker/owner. I was saying hello to each one of them with a ugly stare that they ALL gave back to me and when I saw the owner, i was still not greeted. Then, she proceeded to tell me I needed to bring in MY own hangers and couldn’t sell “$2,000 bags and have my clothes like this” which was VERY DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. She should’ve told me how she handled her business THREE WEEKS ago when I spoke to her, but instead made me drive over a hour just to have the door shut on my face. Never returning and do not recommend. She is so rude."
