"One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor. Dr. Tsafrir scheduled me for an initial appointment and emailed me a health history form to fill out ahead of time. It was 23 pages — I have chronic fatigue (my reason for seeing her in the first place) and it's the holidays, so I wasn't able to finish it. Today, the day of the appointment, I saw that she had emailed me the day before saying that since I hadn't returned the paperwork she assumed that I was canceling the appointment. I called her right away, and when she answered the phone I heard her audibly say "Oh Jesus Christ" in an annoyed voice. I apologized for not having completed the form and said that I understood if she had already canceled our appointment but that I was still free to meet. She refused. She told me that not only could we not meet today, but that she would NEVER work with me. Because I hadn't followed her system "it just won't work." I apologized again and explained why I hadn't been able to finish the form but she didn't budge. Her attitude the entire conversation was extremely rude and unprofessional. She genuinely seemed mad at me. She said that "this keeps happening to her." Working with the chronically ill is one of her specialties; it is extremely common for someone with a chronic illness to not be able to finish an assignment on time. That her reaction to this would be to deny care is astonishing. I cried after getting off the phone. I have dealt with difficult doctors my entire life, but I have never felt as disrespected as I did with her. One final note: I notice that with the exception of a single one star review (detailing an experience that sounds identical to mine), every review is 5 stars, by someone with few reviews to their name, and uses extremely similar language. I can't prove that they are fake, but they sure look that way to me. I hope this review does not get lost among them."

"Dr. Tsafrir has been a life saver for me. After trying many doctors and modalities, I finally found a place I feel at home. I came to her desperate from relief of my anxiety, depression and medication side effects. It had been several years of suffering. Dr. Tsafrir was very diligent in understanding my health and personal history. She was so easy to talk to, share and confide in. Early on she gave me homework that I diligently applied, and the results were amazing, both mentally and physically. I was skeptical coming in having had many prior awful experiences, but her warmth and compassion along with incredible knowledge was immediately evident. In today’s day and age, and my past experiences, having trust in the mental health community is hard. So many doctors are quick to prescribe a pill without a second thought. Not Dr. Tsafrir. I felt I could trust her the moment we first spoke on the phone, and that she would truly “prescribe” what was needed. Not just from the pharmaceutical world if necessary, but also the world of nature and the universe as a whole. I’ve been exposed to so many other ways to look at healing. I see Dr. Tsafrir not only as a Doctor, but as a Life Coach/Guide. I don’t know where I would be today without her. I look forward to our sessions to share, learn and continue to improve myself. On a regular basis there is “something new” she shares that helps me on my journey. Words cannot describe how important she is to me, and by extension my entire family. I would recommend Dr. Tsafrir without hesitation. I could literally continue with my praise, but I want to make sure my post isn’t too long so people will read it!"
