"Our deck project had finally been completed and the only challenge left was to find a way to keep it usable in the afternoon sun that typically seared the back side of the house. We decided on an awning to provide shade over that part of the deck that would find us sitting down for a late afternoon beverage or early meal and so turned to Ocean Tailors. The end product was a beautiful awning, professionally installed by two of the most personable, competent and patient service people one would ever want to engage. These same two young men came back at the end of the season to help prep the awning to endure what the winter winds would no doubt throw at us, our deck and the awning. Again, it was a pleasure dealing with them. Indeed, it was pleasure dealing with each and every member of the Ocean Tailors team. From design, quality of product, to installation and post-installation service, the experience was top notch. Highly recommend."

They completely rebuilt the seat which had broken down over the years and is now the most comfortable piece of furniture in my room. "For years we struggled to find the right solutions for our “full sun” deck. We tried several different types of umbrellas. None provided a sufficient amount of shade. Because we lacked proper shading on the deck, our dining room overheated. (double glass slider separates dining room from deck) Now that we have our awning, it feels like we’ve added 2 new rooms to the house. We’re using and enjoying our “full sun” deck every chance we get. We no longer need to use an AC unit in the dining room. Yep! The awning outside made that much difference to the temperature inside!"
