To effectively mail items to your student, ask them for their virtual box number, which can be found in their Garnet Gateway account. Include their first and last name and campus box number in the address to ensure proper delivery.

If you are traveling a long distance or flying in, consider shipping your student's belongings to campus beforehand. Our services also include Mic'd Up sessions with students and alumni, such as lacrosse captain Isla Cotter '24, as well as stories from Bates couples, neuroscientists, authors, and grant recipients like Prerana Shrestha '03 studying PTSD. Recently, survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide visited Bates to share their stories of survival and reconciliation, ensuring that the killers do not have the last word.
