"We absolutely love Dr. Spaight! My son has been a patient of hers since Dr.Matthieu(sp?) left the practice. So for 11 or 12 years (he’s 13.5). I couldn’t have asked for a better pediatrician for my son. I have never, in all of these years, gone in for an appointment and ever felt rushed or dismissed. She is extremely thorough and gives you and your child the time we deserve. She is always happy to answer any questions we may have and she always gives a clear, informative explanation. She has always been able to answer the what’s and why’s” without any hesitation, it’s very clear she knows her stuff. She never just walks in the office, reads your chart and throws meds at you just to make you feel like something’s being done. She understands that antibiotics are not for any and every ailment (like another Dr. there does) and she gives proper treatment. Dr. Spaight is very kid friendly, yet she does not over coddle like some Dr’s can. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is just all around an amazing Dr. I wish she treated adults, lol. 10/10, highly recommend Dr. Deborah Spaight if they are accepting new patients."
"Had the most unfortunate experience with this office. I have three children, two with special needs, including an infant. Our insurance website listed the office as accepting new patients and we were told the same by the secretary when we called to register as patients. After our information was taken, including that our children have a rare metabolic disorder, we received another phone call back from a different secretary telling us that Dr. Spaight had decided that there was "no room at the practice" for any of our children. When I explained my confusion she told me that she "didn't know why [I] would think we would automatically become patients." When I asked that Dr. Spaight call me back to help me understand what I feel is a discriminatory decision the secretary told me the doctor would get back to me "if she [felt] like it." Extremely rude, unprofessional and disappointing."
