"Marina's space was set up beautifully; soft music, it was warm and cozy, soft light from above with candles of varying heights flickering, essential oils, and her own custom blend massage oil infused with annatto seeds. She told me all about their amazing benefits of the annatto seeds and proceeded to pick three essential oils to add to her custom blend; oils she felt would most benefit me. Marina had her work cut out for her that day, as I have admittedly been struggling with overwhelm at multiple levels, as many of us are these days. As my overwhelm leaked out of my eyes, streaming down my face, she asked permission to take my hand as we sat and talked. She gently held mine between her own two hands while she did a breathing/guided meditation with me that brought me quickly back into my heart, and present. She explained every step of what her session plan was based on our conversation, and much to my delight, we would be focusing on head/face, hands/arms and feet. Incidentally these are my fave areas to focus on in my own massage practice. The moment she placed her hands on my head as the session began, she softly reminded me that I had nothing else to think or worry about at the moment, no responsibilities, no demands other than relaxing and receiving the work. My session was absolutely everything I needed. Marina's work feels gentle, but seriously *deep in all the right places, similar to what I hear from my own clients, it was incredibly exciting for me to feel her work! The detail and attention to my face/jaw, hands and feet actually made me feel like I received a full body massage. Since I also practice Reflexology, I know this to be a factual statement. You absolutely can address issues throughout your whole body by focusing on these areas. Marina is and has such a gentle, wise and understanding soul; her voice is soft, her words are deliberate and well thought out; she is creative and extraordinarily knowledgeable about so many levels of healing, having travelled the world extensively and learning all along the way. I am so happy that she has decided to land in Maine and will be sharing her practice in southern Maine."
