"Just had a good reminder of why I don't do business with this place anymore. I bought a snowmobile trailer from them a few years ago and after I paid and was ready to drive home with it they tell me it needs a new light plug. So I come back a few days later and pick it up. Fast forward to now, my lights don't work anymore because when they installed the connectors they stripped too much wire leaving it exposed and it corroded. Needed to replace all the wire connectors because they didn't do it right. They also worked on my sled once and managed to break my windshield. Fine, mistakes happen, however they didn't tell me and replaced it with a smaller windshield. Avoid this place like the plague."
"I brought my snowmobile there in the beginning of March and now it's December and still not fixed. I call 1 or 2 times a month and still waiting on parts. They have never called me to tell me what is going on? They care more about tractors now then snowmobiles. Go to another dealer!! Not this one"
"Spent a year tractor shopping and the folks at Tripps offered more help and information than any dealership I visited. Highly recommend"
"I bought a brand new snowmobile from them last year. The day I brought it home the snowmobile was not running right and was having clutch issues with 0 miles. I called them and asked if they could take a look at it and they told me I would need to do some “shimming” myself to get it right. I had to argue with them to take a look at it. They ended up looking at it and “shimmed” it. I took it riding the next day and with less than ten miles on the snowmobile I blew my first belt. Later that weekend I blew a second belt with less than 50 miles. In the fall of 2022 with my warranty still on it I took it back to have the clutches looked at again as something was wrong. They told me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. Later that season I had more belt issues as it was never fixed. I took it to a more qualified dealer and they told me the clutches were way out of alignment due to the “shimming” Tripps did to hide the issue. After they told me that they also said that the clutch that was on my sled was completely the wrong one for it and they could tell by the incorrect color of the Loctite on the bolts that tripps had had changed it prior to me buying it. The other dealer changed the clutch for me under warranty and sled was running perfect. Till later this winter my sled caught on fire and was ruined. I brought it back to the other dealer to see what went wrong. They stated there were lots of loose bolts and missing bolts in spots and things weren’t put back together correctly. They could tell someone had been in there messing around with stuff which the only other shop this sled had been at was Tripps. This snowmobile was completely wrong from the day I bought it brand new. I’ve had a terrible experience since day one with tripps, I would not recommend this business to anyone as they seem very unqualified and dishonest."
"Sold us a snow blower that don't work. Edit: my husband was told by the owners nephew that all the needs to be done was drain the old gas and put new gas in! We did that. We did not was a snow blower that needs work Done to it! We don't have time to fix it and I feel like we where completely taken advantage of noing we needed something because of the storm. It was a complete waste of money for us."
