"Dr Yang is the most irresponsible and unpleasant doctor I have ever had the misfortune to deal with in my life. Not only is he rude with a brusque and condescending demeanor, he has given us misinformation about our mother on more than one occasion. He is not even my mother's main oncologist but he has inserted himself into her situation when her main doctor is out of town, and it is during these times that he misinforms, scares and insults us. Twice in the past 6 months he has told us in no uncertain terms that our mother was "dying soon" and to "get hospice in place", that she is "loaded with cancer" and that her family are "in denial". When we talk to her main doctor afterwards to see if what he has told us is correct she immediately refutes what he says. I live a 3 hour drive away from my mother and, once based on a conversation I had with him, immediately left my office in NYC and drove all the way to Massachusetts to be at my mother's side, only to learn that what he told me was not the case. He did the same with my sister just this week, told her my mother had just "weeks to live" and that we should stop being in denial about it. He also told her that if my mother showed up at his hospital he was going to go to her room and tell her she was dying, despite our repeated orders for him to stay away from her. Watch out for this man. I wish this site allowed me to not leave any stars at all because that's how low I rate him."
