"This place is awful. Disorganized, dismissive, and overall unhelpful. I went to the ER very early in the morning for severe neck pain. I had no movement, inflammation, and painful swallowing. The Dr came in and did no exam, asked no questions, and just declared that I had a stiff neck. Said he was going to give me some meds and send me on my way. I was prescribed 3 medications total and given paperwork which included the 3 scripts and discharged. After speaking with the pharmacy all morning, they said they hadnt recieved any orders. When I called the ER back the first time they said they would send the scripts to filled. By late afternoon, they still had not sent in the 3rd medication. I called the ER back only to be told that the current Dr on staff did not agree with the prescriptions I was given and said he would not fill them. I told them I had the written scripts and discharge papers in my hand and he said he didn't care he didn't want to fill them. I was told I could come back to the hospital to be reevaluated if I wanted and then brushed off. To be so blatantly disregarded at every step is unacceptable. The ER isn't fun place to be, to ask someone to come back after being blown off twice is so upsetting. I will never be back."
"My experience was terrible. Neglectful and abusive. Don't trust this place with your life or your loved ones. Maine med is the place to go if you want to be treated like a human being and not just a warm body for them to mess with. Consider yourself warned"
"They were extremely busy when we went but everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful to us. It was a crazy night there but they got us in an out as fast as they could. I appreciate that so much!"
"Best ER experience we've ever had. Nurses, techs and Dr McQuillen. Professional, attentive, very thorough. Highly recommend!"
"I love this hospital. I can never fully express my gratitude towards them because I have so much to say. This hospital saved my life numerous times. I have few bumps in the road but they fix them. Doctors and nurse's or anyone else I work with has been generous. Their compassionate and trusting hospital. It's not the hospital's fault, some people have a lack of faith these days How about practice gratitude. I believe if you don't show love, you be giving zero back. Betrayal never comes from your enemies, they come from the people you love the most but you going to be strong enough to love yourself as you love this hospital. As I send this thing... Something to ponder about, sometimes people don't get second chances so be humble. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
