"I got a massage from Alyx and it was exactly what I needed. Alyx uses medium pressure and it's more of a relaxing and therapeutic massage. I also like that they offer online bookings and later appointments. Street parking out front is usually easy to find for evening appointments within a block or two. I definitely recommend!"

"This is a long overdue review. I've been going here for the last several years, even before the pandemic. I have tried several of the therapists, who are all quite talented, but have consistently been seeing Claire for her Amma therapy over the long-term, and more recently, Sophia for Myofascial release. Regarding Claire - her type of massage is rejuvenating physically, but more importantly, mentally. Whenever my central nervous system feels burned out, my brain feels fried, or I feel anxious, nothing makes me feel better than a session with her. I have been training in boxing for the past several years, putting my body through lots of brutal physical exertion, and I also have 2 young children. Sleep doesn't exist, so the brief respite I get from an Amma session, which includes lots of Chinese Medicine techniques, instills a calm in me that cannot be achieved with any kind of Yoga or meditation. I consider it to be "maintenance" for my brain, nerves, mental well-being...the list goes on. Regarding the myofascial release - I find this to be a preferable means of physical recovery to sports massage. I used to do sports massage often, but I found that it often beat me up and left me unable to train for several days, with a fleeting effect. I've found Sophia's myofascial release to be much more of a sweet spot - gentle, but highly penetrating to my fascia, and extremely relieving to my worn-down joints. It both feels good and is effective, and I feel the relief for a much longer period. I will be going to Waterhouse Wellness indefinitely. It truly is an oasis for the body and mind."

"Just returned to Waterhouse for my second visit there. I had a wonderfully relaxing massage with Rejeana who was very attentive to my “problem areas.” I even fell asleep for part of it. I also had a lovely light therapy facial with Morgan who was super friendly and informative. She gave me lots of good advice for my skin care routine (and wrote it down so I’ll actually remember it!). Definitely recommend visiting!"
