"I Seen someone this morning who is Caring & Very Helpful to the communities ~Thank you"
"This facility is Prescribing medication without proper diagnosis, and in person counsel, should be against the law. This is not right. Prescribing a person with psychosis issues Adderall without seeing them in person and proper diagnosis- is highly dangerous."
"I’ve had a good experience with luminosity up until this point. Let me just be clear by saying they have one psychiatrist and she is very ignorant. I had a therapist here for just about a year before things went downhill. They lack communication entirely and honestly I’m glad she terminated my service before I had to. First of all; the problem began when I tried to schedule an appointment with my therapist to which they informed me that my insurance was no longer valid which was not the case. They closed my case file and I had to call them to reopen it. Upon reopening, I tried to reschedule an appointment with my therapist ( Alexandra Charles ) that she never showed up to. Four times. Her excuse somehow came to be that “i thought you were going to call me.” As a patient I shouldn’t have to call my therapist. I’m not even going to elaborate on how frustrating that is. Which is when I decided that I was going to start a new therapist search. Additionally, I received calls every month about appointments with like I mentioned earlier, their god awful psychiatrist, that I should not have because it was already documented in my file I was not seeing their psychiatrist and that I got a new one. Overall I think they treated me very sloppy, and poorly which is disappointing because I enjoyed their services up until they got careless with my case. I still have yet to receive an email back from Im assuming their department manager ( Josephine Mogire ) that I hope sees this because she was dodgy too when you call their office and ask to speak to her. Will not be returning! Hope this reaches you well."
"It was helpful to have someone to talk to, but then when I attempted to get involved in medication management everything changed drastically. Then it was like either you accept the Dr's recommendation or else. I don't like being backed into a corner and I really don't respond well to "tough love" type of treatment. The only people that I allowed to do that were my parents and they did not know any better. They were immigrants, not well educated and did the best they could. Dr's and clinicians should know better and should have a pretty good idea how a patient will respond to a certain type of treatment. Well, if their goal was to NOT treat me they were successful. If not, then they missed the mark entirely. I do not have a history of addiction or any type of drug seeking behavior, so the Dr's treatment of me was completely unwarranted. I have a long history of depression and PTSD following a sibling's suicide and loss of a parent in the same year. The pandemic was hard on every one especially those who have a history of mental illness. What was needed was compassion, not "toughness" and threats of hospital admission. It's still too bad, I waited a month to talk to a therapist and another to speak to the Dr only to end up in chaos and anger."
"This place is a joke. Just another place to get suboxone and all other types of drugs you might need. Wouldnt recommended anyone from going here. The staff are unorganized and if you are on a narcotic this place doesn't care to kick you off of them. A friend of mine had a seizure because the Dr. Who's name I will not mention for legal reason's blocked him from being able to make an appointment. It's illegal for any doctor to stop seeing you because of personal health issues. And to stop you from getting medication that you've been on for more than 6 to 8 years."
