Newton Square Counseling Center

Newton Square Counseling Center, located at 338 Highland Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, has been providing mental health services to the community since 1989. Originally founded by Dr. Zamir Nestelbaum, the center has recently rebranded as the Newton Square Counseling Collaborative to better reflect its multi-disciplined and collegial approach in a post-covid hybrid and telehealth environment.

The collaborative consists of a team of talented mental health clinicians, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and social work therapists, who work together to provide personalized treatment plans for each individual. Newton Square offers both in-person and telehealth services, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to meet the diverse needs of the community.

The center is committed to inclusivity and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, including people of color, LGBTQ individuals, recent immigrants, and trauma survivors. Located in a beautiful Victorian building with ample off-street parking, Newton Square offers a confidential and comfortable environment for those seeking in-person care.

Additionally, the Newton Square Counseling Collaborative is actively seeking independent licensed clinicians to join their practice. Therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists interested in providing telehealth or a hybrid version of telehealth and in-office treatment are encouraged to explore opportunities at the center.
