"Dude working there was either stoned or clueless about instruments. Might as well been at wal mart asking an employee for help. Had no BASIC knowledge of anything. I am new to the area.. First , and LAST time i will ever go there…"
"Mid Town music is a great local music store with everyone's needs. I had a few stringed instruments that needed to be restrung so I have them at my house for me and my son to toy around with. When I picked them up it was like picking up brand new instruments, these guys do an amazing job. I am a drummer and also brought my bass drum hoop in for some modifications and they did a perfect job. I highly recommend mid Town for any of your musical needs."
"Decided to go here for some new strings, a tune up, and to fix my jack. It took a week which is how log anyplace would but my guitar sounds amazing. And the prices are awesome"
"Went on a road trip from the Midwest to the northeast to visit my brother. I visited many guitar stores and music shops on the way. Ended up here on a Saturday morning, the gentleman at the counter seemed fairly annoyed at my excitement to find an old 80's Japanese amp to try out and potentially buy. Unfortunately the employee put me off on even thinking about bringing it home. Maybe he needed a coffee or something idk. I will note that this business has wind lessons on Saturday mornings, so if you want to come in and turn on an amp (not like I turn amps to 10 in guitar stores) don't come at that specific day/time. I see a lot of great reviews for this place so I'm hoping that my experience was just someone having a bad morning."
"A quaint, but we'll utilized space used for lessons, sales, and keeping a great stock of popular products and instruments. The owner was in-store for my visit, and was very accommodating. We had a fun chat and I found Clear Voice vocal throat spray here; something even the larger department stores didn't have stocked."
