"Steve is a great teacher! I heard of people having to retake their national and state but I had to retake the course, I finished the self study in a few days. I am a slow learner but, a week later I scheduled my exam and passed. I had Steve in my head the entire exam!"
"The course was conducted on time and in a professional manner. The instructor was knowlegeable and well organized. It was a good learning experience and I can highly recommend the Real Estate Institute to others. Ken."
"Elaine Richter is one of the best instructors, is very knowledgeable and keeps her classes engaged. I never miss an opportunity to be in one of her classes."
"Please read! Use at your own risk Several weeks into the program I had reached out to their office with major concerns only to leave a message and wait 24hrs for a call back which came from a blocked number. I found that interesting and that should have been my first cause for concern....However I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt so, I expressed my concerns with their online portal and lack of clarity on their program. Their website did not function on my iPad/iPhone the way a well ran online class should. Tabs didn’t work correctly, the pages wouldn’t scale properly and the entire setup seemed poorly designed. So at this point I paid $450 for a 400 page book and access to a website portal from 1999 that contained more documents to download and read. This was not structured in a way that an online class From 2020 typically is, no course outline, course schedule, and no direction on how to move through this materially efficiently. As a web developer and someone with a strong background in business and marketing I had mentioned I was not happy with my user experience with their online program and wanted to switch over to their live classes immediately. I was told someone would reach out. I was told someone would be calling me back. Several weeks later I called back and spoke to the same person who remembered our conversation who assured me someone would reach out. Finally a week later I received an automated email from someone who called themself an instructor who offered to answer my questions about the online program. Sadly at this point over two months into the program and now having all 3 of my children on remote learning, I was no longer able to proceed with this online, work from home course and requested to join their live classes again. I was assured that would be the case when live classes started back up but never heard anything after this. Come to find out a live class started via video conference, why wasn’t i informed? I felt lied to at this point and expressed my dissatisfaction only to be told if I wanted to pay an additional $325 they would add me to their next class. Wow I laughed at that and said I’m not paying for a service when I never received an adequate service the first time! So here we are 5 months later and nothing has been resolved, if anything I received an email stating my class is soon to expire and they are unable to help me. I will be calling my bank for a refund. Thanks again for the lack there of."
"This is a great real estate school! Before you jump in, do a little research. So often people think " I'll get rich quick!" doing this and that is not necessarily true. Beyond the Courses, the License Fees and start up costs you may not get any Clients for a while. It takes 6 months - 2 years to build a base so be realistic. So many people dropped out after 2 classes because they didn't realize the time commitment and work involved. Its hard, but very gratifying. The School in General is wonderful if you take the classes in person! The Teachers are helpful, educated and honest."
