"This school has gone extremely down hill. The new staff members, especially administration, is extremely rude and disrespectful. There was an incident where a student, who went here his entire life, passed away in a car accident. When students asked to do a moment of silence and hang his football jersey in a respectful memory of him, we were immediately shut down and told this is something we need "don't want to remember". There was another incident where staff members went and looked into each car in the parking lot during the first day of our high school spirit week, and suspended most of the junior and senior class. They suspended students that same day, who weren't even at school that day or had no connection with the incident because they "had to assume it was theirs". Nute High School has become a joke, anytime we attempt to reach out for help we just get shut down. More students have left this school within this school year, than any other year I know. We have minimal education opportunities. For instance, in our high school health class we learned nothing about safe sex, they spoke about abstinence and that was the end of it, we never once heard about a condom, until the day there was one on the seat of a students car and she was continuously harassed the next three days. I wouldn't ever suggest sending your child here unless there is a major change in how it is being run."
"The asbestos adds a nice aroma that resonates throughout the school and there are more broken windows than I have credits. There is an ever lingering vape cloud above the school which provides shady areas for studying. Over all great school :)"
"Just fantastic. I loved going here as a young lad. I can remember how the school just oozed quality education. I mean from the front entrance to the classrooms. No details over looked and no expense was spared in the making of the school facilities here. Everyone talks about their joyous memories of the education here. This school is a designated learning space that empowers the young minds that take up residence in this fine community. Thank you for being here."
"I went to 5 different schools throughout schooling. Nute was the best one, better than Rochester, Manchester north, Dover, Derry, and Pelham. The school may not be in the best shape, but they offer an extremely wide range of classes, and the teachers genuinely care. Nute somehow found both Scott Currier and Brian Contorchick, simply the two best teachers I had out of any school. I'm not really sure what this "Kate Kube"s problem is, considering that the school does not smell like mold, kid's got expelled for bullying and there has never been a class of over 100 at nute. My class was originally 56, the biggest class Nute had, and we graduated with 49. Her review is slanderous lies and in extremely poor taste. But nonetheless, great school."
"WORST. SCHOOL. EVER. SERIOUSLY. I can't believe my kid has to go here. The entire school REAKS of black mold but administration swears it's been remediated. Administration and teachers don't return phone calls or emails, they just ignore parents. Reports of bullying are found unsubstantiated even when the VP apologizes to your child and says, I know you're being bullied, but we don't believe in retaliation. If she hits you, don't hit her back. SAU office ignores you as well. Entire administration needs to be replaced. School needs to be closed down. Poor range of class offerings. So many drop outs they graduate less than 50 kids when a freshman class consists of over 100. Unexcusable."
