"I'm not sure where I would be without Region 10. Region 10 Technical High School has lead me in the right direction to my career and I couldn't be happier. I got my EMT certification in the beginning of my Junior year and will have my CNA certification before I graduate high school. All the staff is nurturing and caring for every student. When I get to wherever my career takes me I will always thank Region 10 because if it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am."
"During my first year, I went from clueless to fluid in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and got some knowledge in Adobe InDesign. Commercial Arts is a great class to take here to learn more about any of these listed programs. Projects include making covers, designing page layouts, vector cartoon images, etc. You also get small periods of time to work on your own stuff if you've completed your project. Overall, this class will make you more comfortable with these intimidating programs, and more familiar with computers in general. Also, the 10 minute break to get snacks, eat lunch, or just hangout is very nice."
"Region 10 runs an amazing Technical program. Students can chose from Auto Tech or Body, Outdoor Power, Building Trades, Metal work, Graphic Design, Pre-Engenering, Culinary Arts, or even earn their CNA or EMT certification. With plans for even greater expansion in the works, if you want a solid Technical education you will get one here."
"Attending Commercial Arts has opened a lot of doors for me. I feel in the three years I attended, I always learned something new [or was able to improve myself]. The foundation that's laid through this class has kept me improving even after graduation. Mr. B is a very honest teacher, and his teaching methods worked very well for me. If you're interested in pursuing art, or learning Photoshop [or other Adobe programs] I highly recommend this class. As long as you have an open mind, and the determination to learn, you'll do just fine."
"Probably the worst run school I have ever been to. The teachers are rude, and they're proud of it. Not only are the teachers rude, but so are the students who go there. Honestly there's another technical high school in Bath, and there's another in Portland. I would highly suggest going out of your way to go to one of these or just don't go at all. The "experience" you get here is little to none. You will spend more time dealing with drama than actually learning. I think any school who allows teachers to call their students stupid or ruin their dreams should be shut down."
