Libbey Forum, located at 44 Mountain Avenue in Lewiston, Maine, United States, is a historic institution that was dedicated on Oct. 1, 1909. Donated to Bates College by Lewiston textile mill owner W. Scott Libbey, the building has a rich history and significance on campus. Originally home to student literary societies, Libbey Forum now houses Student Financial Services and the Registrar's office. The building, with its distinctive Romanesque entrance and hipped roof, is considered one of the most solid and substantial structures in Lewiston. W. Scott Libbey, a self-made man who made his fortune in the town, was a respected figure in the community and a generous benefactor to Bates College.
