"Fryeburg Academy is a great school, I went to a fashion show the other day dedicated to different cultures. Teachers here are amazing; though a select few do not deserve to teach due to horrible attitude towards the students. Admin is so utterly disgusting they do nothing for the well fare of the students here, as there has multiple accounts of bullying. During all school meeting, Mrs.Mayo speaks on behalf of all student and faculty. Dining is great, food is amazing. Soup never lets you down! I do go here personally, and the way they treat dorm students is horrendous, such as curfews and unrelated rules. Although, please shoot for Frye Hall if you are becoming a dorm student and present as female. The dorm parents there are fantastic, Ms.Dutelle and Ms.Guibourd. Once again the admin team is a bit messed up, but Mrs.Mayo is doing a fantastic job! Mr.Haung-Dale is an amazing person all around, you can talk to him just about anything."

"This is basiclly a public school who gets there funds from overpriced tuition from dorm students. It’s sad to see people around the world arrive to this school to be completly disappointed to there expectations. School is extremely unprofessional.Though living in the dorms is one of the worst things there. I just graduated and living in the dorms was completely insane."

"Went to the Candlelight Christmas concert. It was full house, but very comfortable. Only issue, there wasn't anyone handing out programs, you had to swipe them from the table. I asked someone and they pointed out the other table with folders on it! The music was beautiful, and the students did a wonderful job!! Enjoyed the beat boxing of one of the students!!! Hard to do that with a mask on!"

"Fryeburg Academy has a very good reputation in the area. I noticed there was a review concerning the dismissal of Coach Lee. Obviously, the writer is not a lawyer and clearly knows nothing about the First Amendment nor education law. Most people, and wrongly so, believe that First Amendment rights are absolute; they are NOT. In order for the First Amendment to come into play, there MUST be "state action." In addition, the First Amendment rights of students were first addressed in Tinker vs. Des Moines and this case involved symbolic freedom of speech. The court did issue a caveat where the education purpose would be balanced with the First Amendment. Thus, if the education process is disrupted substantially, then the First Amendment takes a back seat. Logically, it makes sense. Also, coaches, typically, have yearly appointments that are NOT covered by the general provisions of the teachers' contact. Consequently, coaching positions are appointed on a year to year basis. I am not a liberal in any sense, but I do know the law, while the other writer clearly does not!"

"Fryeburg Academy is wonderful school. It is a community of people who are strongly dedicated to the heritage of the school and it's student body. The school is committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, tolerant and inclusive community. The faculty and staff are warm, caring and welcoming individuals who are all working toward a common goal, the success of each individual student. The depth of the curriculum is truly impressive. I am truly excited for the opportunities that await my children at FA!"
