"Dr. Coffey is a very humble surgeon with exceptional expertise in his field of work. He has excellent perioperative instructions that are clear and easy to interpret. He takes the time to listen and answer any questions you have about your surgery. Prior to going into surgery he came to see me to go over the surgery process again and since I requested music be played in the operating room, we went through a song list and selected artists to listen to. As I rolled into the OR, music was playing and the atmosphere was positive. His crew was exceptional. While in PACU, he came by to speak with me about how the surgery went, showed me pictures of what he did and went over what medications I would be getting to control pain. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Coffey's down to earth, friendly and compassionate approach to how he treats his patients. All around 100% recommend him as a surgeon. Staff at Salem hospital pre-op and PACU were also excellent."
