"I walked in on a Wednesday morning in January 2018 to be induced as I was 4 days past my due date and had gestational diabetes and Dr. Bass was uncomfortable with me going up to 41 weeks with the condition. Dr. Bass checked in on me during the day to see how the induction was going (it was going SLOW); she ended up breaking my water later on that evening. I got an epidural a time after that and waited some more... Fast forward to the next day, Dr. Bass was at the end of her shift and one of the other OBs, Dr. Licare, took over for her and she ended up delivering my baby by c-section that afternoon. Everything went smoothly post-delivery and had one postpartum appointment with Dr. Bass at the 6-week point to measure how everything was going with the baby as well as myself. After that, it's a check up at the one year mark. I've been very happy with my experience with Dr. Bass and all the other OBs at the Newport Women's Clinic. If I had to do all over again, I'd still choose this place!"
