Reviews
"the is no better on/gyn. Dr Domagalski is brilliant and kind. I'm grateful to have found her!"
"I found Dr. Domagalski dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to listen. Even when I didn't actively have issues she always asked about BCP and why I don't want to get on it when I've explained before that I don't like how it makes me feel and also I have migraine, it was the same conversation every time and she always acted like it would solve all my problems while dismissing my experience of feeling AWFUL on it different kinds of BCP for the 8 years I was on it when I was younger. She kept insisting that those side effects didn't happen and that they are over exaggerated and I should just try a different kind. I have PCOS and missed my period for several months straight last year, this has happened before and I was given progesterone back then which caused gastroparesis for several years. She insisted that in her 20 years of practicing she has never heard of such a thing (that is just incredible because my GI has and so has my endocrinologist.) The last time I saw her she shrugged and said "you won't take birth control so I don't know what you want me to do for you." Well, I have migraine with aura so I can't take BCP and I can't take progesterone because of my reaction last time. Her only solution was that "take the progesterone or don't. If you don't get your period for 12 months, you'll be considered in menopause so I guess you can wait to see if you get it or not." I was 35! I saw my PCP shortly after, they were shocked by this advice and thankfully referred me to an endocrinologist who then suggested I find a new gyn because the longer you go without a period the higher your risk for endometrial cancer and that none of this was normal. She did not make it a big deal that I didn't want to take BCP and agreed that I should not. I was started on an inositol supplement and I got my period 2 months later, it's been mostly consistent since then. My GI was glad to hear I did not take the progesterone, there is absolutely a hormonal link with gastroparesis and doesn't know why the gyn said what she did. Dr. Domagalski seems to just want to give BCP and call it a day, I am so thankful I went to go get a second opinion, I almost listened to this terrible, dangerous advice!"
"Dr. Domagalski is an amazing, wonderful and caring physician. I would recommend her with 5 stars. However, the appointments people are THE PITS. They get zero stars! The scheduling is awful. They cancel appointments quite often and when you go to reschedule it's MONTHS before you can be seen. If I didn't really, really like Dr. D so much and feel so comfortable with her I would go elsewhere because of this issue."
"The communication in this office has been terrible since day one. The doctor herself, Lisa D., is an amazing doctor. But the office staff couldn’t care less about you. Make sure you right down your appointments, because if you call to make an emergency appointment they’ll tell you it’s about a months wait and then instead on calling to remind you (since the appointment was made over the phone so there was no card) they’ll just send you a lovely $50.00 bill in the mail with no phone call at all. Not to mention the time they just conveniently forgot to tell me my appointment was at another location, or the time they just rescheduled and didn’t let me know."
"I love Dr Lisa Domagalski! I've been goin to her for years now and she is kind, patient and takes more time with you if you need it. She doesn't rush you out. I recommend her if you are looking for an all around nice caring Doctor!"
