"We have mixed feelings about our sons 8 months there- although he loved playing with his friends and got to do some arts and crafts he does not do at home we felt as though the curriculum in the welcome packet was never followed, aside from one visit of farm animals and one ice cream truck visit there really wasnt any outside field trips or anything that is described. Our son got injured 3x there and although he is clumsy we found it a bit crazy that he could hurt himself there so often and never at home or anywhere else.They went as far to say “we could have paid better attention”. We were told they could “work with us” in regards to payment and then were hit with multiple invoices at once with a different due date each month (two of them being within 2 weeks of each other) which set us back financially for a while, we tried to drop to one day a week for a bit to catch up towards the end and were told that is not possible. McKenzie was an awesome teacher our son always went running to her upon drop off but we cannot say the same for his other teacher."

"Raising Stars is an incredible place for children. I love that it is an in-home school but is managed and resourced like a larger center-- beautiful space, yoga classes, local field trips, holiday gatherings and so much more. My son was fortunate enough to attend for a year before we moved and he thrived. The school is well run and the teachers love the kids. When looking for childcare for my son the two most important things to me and my husband were that our son would be safe and loved-- he was exactly that at Raising Stars and WAY more. The teachers are invested in the children and it is clear that both the kids and the teachers love spending time together. They sing and dance and learn so much. Teachers are communicative throughout the day which makes it easier to be away and they provide nutritious snacks and meals. It was very hard for us to leave the school (we even tried the 30+ minute commute for a couple months because we weren't ready to say goodbye!) and we look forward to visits with Ms. Inga, Ms. Jen, Ms. Cathy and Ms. Melissa this spring! Highly recommend to any parent looking for a loving, safe and enriching experience for their child."

The progress reports are a great way to see your child progression and how they grow up to be ready for the world. Yasmin had a great time and learned so much during her time there.
