"Dr. Goldberg became my new OBGYN when I moved from Boston. He came as a recommendation from my PCP. Initially I was ok with his treatment but things went completely downhill this month. I suffer from severe bleeding during my menstrual cycle. I was seen and had done my homework on what possible treatments could be done to help. Rather than taking a conservative approach, Dr. Goldberg said I would need to have an endometrial ablation. This was regardless of me asking him to try the pill or a progesterone only pill which I had read about. I ended up with a sezuire and ambulance ride to the hospital. It was then that he prescribed a huge dose of progesterone to be taken to stop the bleeding. I took 2 days of the 5 day prescription. I was back in the office in excruciating pain following two days of the RX. I was so bloated it looked like I was pregnant and when I asked him if the bloating could be as a result of the RX he said 100% positively no way. I stopped the pills and went to my old OBGYN. Not only did he lie to my face about his treatment 100% not being a cause of bloating, he didn't mention he would be performing an endometrial biopsy prior to the ablation. My new OB informed me if he didn't do a biopsy and performed the ablation, there was a possibility he could destroy while rare, possible cancer cells. I highly recommend you don't take your chances with this "specialist" if you want to be listened to, helped or understood. He didn't care what I said, contradicted all my questions and didn't know side effects of a medicine he put me on. Find a new OB--he has no idea what he is doing and his lack of empathy and complete disregard for my questions was devastating."
