Happy Crab

"I've eaten here 20,000 times so I'm biased, but the food is SO GOOD and also affordable. The boil bags are their specialty--I eat these to reward myself for making it through a hard day. Don't skim on the shrimp--I know the crab gets all the attention but they know how to cook their shrimp here. Plenty of other options for when I need a quick bite: the fish po boys are *chef's kiss*, and the clam chowder comes in a little bathtub which is adorable. The fried calamari and oyster are other notable mentions. Honestly, I hope Happy Crab stays here till the end of time--really thankful for their presence in the neighborhood."

"Avoid at all costs. A picture speaks by itself… so I’m attaching a photo of the $28 (!) lobster roll. Two bites of lobster meat. Make your own conclusions."

"Don’t recommend eating from this place but if you do please don’t waste your money on their lobster roll because you’re gonna spend $20+ for a hot dog bun that barely have any lobster meat with a pinch of lettuce and some soggy fries. They also won’t give you any refund or discounts for their bad service."

"This food is sub par to say the least. If you want seafood there are FAR better places to go to in the area. Went and got lobster rolls and crab cakes hoping for a quick decent bite to eat and ultimately just ended up completely dissapionted, and searching for another place to get food. The lobster rolls were barely 3oz a piece and the meat was over cooked and tasted horrendously fishy. The lobster rolls also weren’t as pictured on the menu. The crab cakes were actually just potato, a ton of onion, and some imitation crab meat topped off by a piece of someone’s hair. This food tasted like processed, frozen seafood. I called and asked for a refund and they immediately directed me away and told me to call the ordering service for a refund. Spend your money elsewhere, I normally don’t leave bad reviews but this had to be said."

"We had such fun! The seafood was delicious, as were the drinks and fried ice cream. The owner, Vicky, was a phenomenal host. Her warmth and humor added to the meal. My husband had Cajun clams and scallops, and I had catfish and steamed gyoza. This was out first visit and we will definitely be back!"
