"Great little place for food and drinks. Lots of interesting take on food and good options for vegetarians. A little tight in space."
"The best place to eat and drink in Boston? Totally worth sitting at the bar to make new friends? A place you should definitely make reservations at so as not to be disappointed? Only one way to find out : )"
"Had a lovely dinner at Spoke last night. Service was really great, as well as the small plate pacing. The highlights were definitely the sun choke donuts, carpaccio, and tomatoes with mushroom sauce and cheese whiz. The donuts tasted like grown up Funyuns, and the bites of carpaccio brought me back to eating a pastrami sandwich with mustard and pickles on the side at a Jewish deli. The tomatoes were super juicy, sweet, and refreshing, and played really well with the Smokey and savory sauce and cheese."
"5 stars service, 4 stars cocktail, and 3.5 stars food. Service was no doubt really friendly. It’s a wine bar but all the images on their website are about cocktails, so we stay with cocktails. Drinks was not bad. Food was ok. Cheese was good and the appetizer were all good. Main dishes were a bit disappointing. We have a big group so we got almost all the menu. The portion was pretty small but good enough to share and just have a taste. Probably will be back for the drinks only next time."
"Great wine bar near Davis square ! We finally got a chance to head over to Spoke before the winter holidays and we were not disappointed. It's a small space but always seems packed and vibrant. The selection of drinks were wonderful, particularly the wine. They usually have a highlighted wine that is not on the menu - ask about it. The mixed drinks were very diverse, and their aperatifs were extensive as well. Their food selection was a bit eclectic and the staff made sure to explain different dishes. The tagine bean dip, doughnuts, and chicken-pork sausage were highlights. The crudo was a bit too limey, and the shortbread with apple butter was ok as well. The apple cake as a dessert was amazing, and went very well with the Amaro our waitress recommended. Price was a bit higher for the area, but considering the service and wide selection of food/drinks, we had a wonderful time. Hope to come by again soon!"
