Reviews of Portland Paddle
"Despite some group members facing some kayaking challenges on the way to Fort Gorges, our guide Lauren did a stellar job at staying positive and providing tips/instructions. Great morning activity to do in Portland."
"Overall would recommend the sunset tour as an activity while visiting Portland. Despite all of us having some sort of prior kayaking experience, our guide Zach made sure all participants knew how to properly kayak (went over how to hold paddle and use sea tandems). He didn’t glaze over it. He was informative and made sure the group stayed together during our 3.5 mile kayak trip. Since the waters were calm we got to go close to Fort Gorges. Very cool since that was on my bucket list. Recommend, even for beginner kayakers."
"Had a wonderful paddle to Fort Gorges with Sam A! Great paddle with attention to safety and enjoyment. Lots of time exploring the fort. We were fortunate to see two bald eagles that had wriggling fish (dinner!) in their grasp as they flew by! Thanks for a great experience!"
"An amazing time out on the ocean with Portland Paddle. Our guide was super knowledgeable and very friendly and energetic. We kayaked out to Fort Gorges and back with a pretty strong head-wind on the way back. It was incredibly fun and a bit of a work out! I would highly recommend this experience if you like kayaking on the ocean!"
"If I could give Portland Paddle 6 of 5 starts I would! We brought a corporate group of 25 for the Fort Gorges Sea Kayak Tour with Melanie, Alex and Peter. They were super knowledgeable and personable! We had such a good time, several of us came back the next day for a sunset tour with Whitney! She was equally as impressive! Thank you for two memorable experiences on the water!"
