"The staff was incredibly kind to my family. They were even went out of their way to give my toddlers some Smokey the Bear activity books. This place isn’t just a rest stop, it’s a place to stop and learn about what Maine has to offer."
"It was our first time traveling in Maine, and we were a bit overwhelmed with the many choices and thought we would give the highway information center a try. Oh my, we were so impressed with Beth's knowledge and her love of Maine. She spent quite a bit of time giving us some great options for our drive up the coast. We've loved every spot she suggested so far and have yet to get lost. Thank you, Maine for being so beautiful and Beth for your wonderful assistance!"
"They save a lot of wonderful information for each area of Maine. There are a few picnic tables to use. There is a Snack Shack that has a few vending machines. I was disappointed with the bathrooms. There were several that had put off order signs on them, others looked like people didn't flush them. The sinks are coming off the walls, so they don't want you to lean on them. One is broken. The men's had all urinals out of order. We have been traveling across the US and have stopped at a lot of rest areas. This is not a favorite."
"Good bathroom break spot. Plenty of parking. close to on/off ramps of I-295. Normally decent bathrooms. Currently most urinals in the men's room are broken"
"Large parking lot with dog walking areas if needed. Bathroom facilities and tourism information available. No food or gas service available. However, there are those services near by."
