They made sure everyone got the best experience and really didn't rush through any portion of the tour. I got to hold a lobster and even got to kiss one. "I visited the Mere Point Oyster tour. Peter and Kat were awesome hosts! Captain Peter took us out to the Oyster farm, pointing out landmarks and giving us information about the area along the way. Kat took care of drink orders and requests. After about a 30-minute boat ride, we made it out to the Mere Point float on the water surrounded by the oyster farm. That was a really cool experience. We got off the boat and onto the Mere Point Oyster float. They explained the cultivating and husbandry of oyster farming and we got to eat fresh shucked oysters right on the float. It's about as fresh as you can get and they were delicious. We also each got a lobster roll... I'm not from New England and have only had a few lobster rolls in my life. This was far-and-away the best lobster roll I've ever eaten. It wasn't greasy and covered in butter like others I've had. Then we back to the wharf and experienced a gorgeous sunset. The weather was perfect. Overall, it was a very unique experience, well worth the money. I would highly recommend it."
