"Thw customer service is utterly appalling. I spent 4 days on hold for 5 hours being 4 in the que waiting to speak with a representative finally at 4:50pm a rep answers verifies my account information and suddenly disconnects the call !!!! The next day I write an email requesting help and at the time of this review NOTHING. I have been a customer since 2013 whose premiums have been paid to this date. This has me seriously thinking I need to cash out the policy and go with the competition perhaps I’ll get better service ‼️"
"Wish I could leave less than one star. Horrible to work with. Wrote the wrong name on the check and trying to get a replacement is a nightmare. They will tell you anything just to get you off the phone. Made up a FedEx tracking number then said the check was overnighted by the post office, been three days and still haven’t received the overnighted check. If you have insurance with them good luck getting service."
"If I could leave a zero, I would have. Bought accident insurance from rep, who basically said that if I get hurt I would get paid based on the treatment / injury. Hurt my left thumb / wrist to point that I needed surgery to remove the trapezium bone. Sent the claim in, and the sent me correspondence stating that my certificate was terminated as of April 1, 2023. I then provided them with proof of monthly payment and proof that they cashed them before they finally reinstated the policy. Then I. The end they state my procedure is not covered... COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY... I'm sure the generic response I'm going to get is "We are sorry to hear that you've had an unpleasant experience"... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH..."
"The customer service representatives for policy loans are very difficult to deal with as if the representative appears to own and pay your monthly premiums. They give you the run around and hassle. You’re definitely not treated as a valued customer that has 14 years invested with the company. I’ve never missed or been late with premium payments. Day after day and hours of calls and still the representatives are not clear on the company policy or procedures. They are not all on the same page. It’s time to re-train the customer service representatives I dealt with. A sad situation and it makes me worry if I had to submit a death claim, if it would be very difficult process in my time of bereavement. It’s easy to collect my premium payments, but this company does not want to give you a dime of what you have paid into. I’m definitely not valued as a 14 year customer and this is very upsetting and hard to accept. I’m afraid if I asked for a supervisor or manager, the representative wouldn’t respect that request. She is very hard to deal with and I keep getting this same young female on the phone, the majority of the time. I hate it when she picks up the line, because I already know she’s going to be problematic and my time waiting on hold was wasted. It seems like there’s only 2 women working on the phone in the loan area. When I hear their voices I know there’s no help in sight. So, this is a warning to those of you that decide to deal with this company’s terrible customer service. You will not get any help, only more problems, bad attitudes and delays."
"My HR dept screwed up and gave me wrong info concerning contact for policy holder and in short I didnt get my lt disability paperwork in on time and will have to wait for next anniversary date to sign up, soooo over the moon happy that it turned out that way after reading these reviews. I spent over 45 minutes in a phone queue yesterday just to set up an appointment to speak with an agent to calculate payments and I was number 21, after 45 minutes, was number 19. #nope I want to amend this to say that someone did contact me and wanted me to speak with their manager, but I had to go to work. That was over three days ago and I've sent an email asking to speak to a rep and so far No call. Are you actually an insurance company?"
