"I do not normally leave bad reviews. However, I’m extremely disappointed and very frustrated with quest travel. I took a vacation with 16 of my friends. On our return trip back to Maine on November 11th, 10 of us were not able to make the connecting flight due to the plane leaving late from Montego Bay, Jamaica. They didn’t have a gate prepared for us to depart. When we arrived at our gate to head home we found that they had closed the boarding doors early for the plane. I understand things like this happen. When we reached the customer service area to get returned flights, we were told that the next available flights weren’t leaving until November 14th. We all sent in our receipts and claims as we had to get a rental car, so that we could drive from North Carolina to Maine. Some of us have received notifications that a refund was processed and sent the travel agency. We are not able to get updates from quest travel, Funjet or American Airlines. When I called and spoke with customer service, I was told that they would refund us only for the last leg of the flight. When I asked about the reimbursement for the car rental, gas and food, I was told they don’t reimburse that. I informed them that we had Purchased travel insurance. It is been several weeks. None of us know if we’re being refunded when we’re going to be refunded or how much we’re going to be refunded. The travel agent has been absolutely no help and I am extremely disappointed. I highly recommend you do not use quest travel."
