"I'm a Type 1 diabetic who uses both the pharmacy and medical supply side of Bedard. I have been so happy with my multi-year experience. Bedard is SO much better than the national medical supply groups that I've had to use in the past. They ship your supplies to you for free (or will deliver it if you are local). They have an app (that is a bit clunky) but it reminds you that you need a refill and you answer about 7 questions and then your supplies are delivered. No need to call them up! They are incredibly patient with the everchanging landscape of medical supply vs pharmacy (I'm looking at you, Anthem) and never make the patient have to deal with that headache (even though I think it's very difficult for them). I changed insurance at one point and my pump supplies cost went up immensely. They actually let me return the supplies, which I was so grateful for. I have changed insurance again and immediately went back to Bedard, after verifying that they were in network. I also had a medical emergency a couple years ago when my pump malfunctioned and the pharmacy location in Lewiston (which I think has sadly closed) saved me, literally. Often you read about pharmacies not recognizing the immediate dangers diabetics can be in (and not being flexible) but Bedard was exactly who you want to have with you if you are in a bad spot."
