"I bought 1 used tire from Mia's on 10/14/2023 and had it mounted. I think I paid $60, which I thought was a little high for a tire that looked well-used, but it was still significantly cheaper than new. Note that Mia's only takes cash. The place also smelled like weed, but that could easily be from passers-by. Anyway, the tire held air and rode smoothly, and it passed inspection. This morning, though, 1/22/2024, I noticed a plug sticking out of the sidewall. I haven't had any repairs done to a tire; it was sold to me this way. I know enough to know that it's not safe to put a plug in the sidewall. In the end, I spent $60 and it bought me time to get several paychecks. Now it's time to get a full set of new tires."
"This place only buys damaged tires. None of them will pass inpsection. If you care about your car, life, and money, avoid this place at all costs."
"BAD BUSINESS HERE. Quoted me a difference price over the phone, offered services they don’t have. When I get my tires put on they didn’t put on my hub centric rings, valve caps, my lug nuts were overtorqued and they destroyed my rim when trying to break the beads. Oh yeah, and one of the tires had a leak so I had to go back. They only take cash for this reason, they damage your tires/wheels forcing you to come back and potentially spend more money. Bad business! If you need tires just pay the extra couple bucks at a legitimate business. Also, they never pick up the phone and nobody understands English."
"I came to Mia's and bought 2 back tires. The owner told me $20 normally but he would charge me $15 because I always come to him. Well I couldn't get an alignment so I wore out a tire. I go and buy another one and bring it to have it mounted and balanced. The owner wasn't there and they tried to tell me it's $30. I was literally there a week ago. Since the owner isn't here they upcharge me. I know that town fair tire charges $26 and they are a real professional company. I don't want to get scammed because I don't speak Spanish."
