"Came here on Saturday 05/20/23 happily to get my third piercing. As soon as I came in one of the coworker greeted me and told me about their specials which was absolutely great.. the thing was after … I came and told them I was coming in for a piercing. This worker was very nice, had a very good mood and excited to get my piercing done. He said he was gonna get it done for me, he sat me down and got everything prepared it was when he started measuring the length and what not in where the piercing was gonna go. I sensed immediately he did not know what he was doing after he showed me the marking, it just wasn't lining up so I told him to redo it. This happened about multiple times on both ears and he kept saying " Its just your ear is so weirdly shaped" and continued on saying "Its good girl I know what I'm doing. I wont let you down". I had this gut feeling not to go through with it but I really wanted to get it done so I gave it a chance. There was a second person watching which was shadowing him but as new as she was she wasn't any help when I asked her about my ears, just watching and agreeing with everything else. At the end when I got them done I took a look at them and.. One of my piercings came out okay but the other one was not pierced correctly, I felt so disappointed at that moment I didn't say anything so I paid and walked out.. and now I had to take it out so I can get it redone. This person had such a great energy but did not have any skills whatsoever. I regret not going through with what I was feeling My point here is that Claire's should have people with piercing skills.. People like me be paying around $50-60 for a piercing. Piercings should definitely be done by someone whos professional or has piercing experience. If anybody has a gut feeling about the person piercing your ear just don't go through with it. I had my other piercings done by other Claire locations and this one just had me regret getting my piercing with them completely :/"

"Claire’s is the standard bearer for first piercings (and most of your follow up jewelry needs) and this location far exceeded my expectations. My niece (to whom I am a legal guardian) got her ears pierced for her 16th birthday and I finally got my other ear pierced after getting my first one done at a different Claire’s 27 years ago. Nikole was essentially running the store by herself during busy holiday shopping time and she made us feel like the only customers in the shop as her last two piercings of the day. She was meticulous, warm, welcoming, authentic, and easy to talk to. Ask for her, specifically if you go to this location or the one in Lynnfield— you’ll walk out freshly decorated and in a really good mood from interacting with her. 10/10 recommend."

"My 10 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and Claire’s was just the place for her. I don’t live in Boston and needed help getting there. It was a super hot day and navigating the city was a bit tricky. I called a couple of times for directions and questions. Rosa was working and helped me on the phone. When we arrived, my daughter was nervous but Rosa was so pleasant and helped her feel comfortable. She was meticulous with marking her ears before piercing and was super professional. We got a cleaning kit and my daughter feels so excited. Thanks for making this rite of passage a pleasant one."

"We were going to get my daughter’s ears pierced here and the worker was extremely rude. Said “ay yai yai” so annoyed with her job. Wouldn’t let me look at the earrings while we waited.There was a little girl and mom going first and she was even rude to them too. We left with a sad little girl. This was July 14th at 12:00"

"Mother and daughter got ear piercing. Staff was friendly and experienced. She was the only person managing the store and did so well btw customers and people getting their piercings. She took her time finding the right location and matching both ears and was efficient without rushing through."
