"This diner has no business making the food it does. It's way better than you might expect when you walk in. The food indicates that whoever is in there cooking knows what they are doing. The food isn't fancy and it's not super Instagramable, but it is nuanced, prepared really well, and tastes fantastic. Usually, the cook at these places is good at putting out food quickly. Here, some actual thought is going into the recipes. The scrambled eggs are fluffy and light. Most people think the rubber eggs they make are fluffy and light, but here they actually are. The pancakes are delicious. The home fries are seasoned well and are browned nicely. If I have any complaints it's that the bacon, while crisp, seemed to not be super fresh. Maybe it was made the day before or something I don't know. But one piece of bacon was all that remained out of 2 plates of food. This place deserves your attention."
