"We had a late check in the Friday of Indigenous Persons Day weekend and they we swell about getting us the check in info. Our cottage, 225 was perfect for the 4 of us (2 couples). We did not experience the pool or hot tub, but definitely will on our return. The location was also perfect for what we panned to do and where we planned to go. Upon leaving, my husband forgot his heated jacket. The folks at Seglass Cottages bent over backwards and went above and beyond to get the jacket back to us. If you want beautiful Southern Maine experience, you can't go wrong with Seaglass Cottages."
"We stayed in cottage 805 for five nights. This cottage was nicely decorated and it felt like home. Everything we needed was provided. The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable (we did not use the beds in the second bedroom). This cottage has an additional 1/2 bath. The cottage is spacious, yet cozy. The grounds are well maintained and the staff is responsive to questions. The prices are very reasonable for the area. I highly recommend Seaglass Village."
"We had a great stay in our cottage. Private. Showers are amazing. Clean. I wish they provided hot tea for tea drinkers but the coffee was good for an early morning departure. Very quaint and we would definitely stay again."
"We stayed in cottage 805! Beautifully decorated. So clean! My kids had such a blast at the pool. The golf cart was an added bonus. My kids loved it. Everyone was so friendly in the community. The beds were extremely comfortable. Did not feel like we were in a cottage at all. Would go again in a heart beat!"
"As so many others during the COVID19 pandemic, our family had been almost exclusively cooped up since March 2020. We normally take a trip to Vermont around this time of year, but, our usual destination had understandably cancelled their events. We had been looking to find a way to try to make a getaway happen over the Indigenous Peoples' Day long weekend, but, were very committed to going only if we could find a place where we could be as safe as possible, and allowed us to maintain a high level of social distancing (so no hotels or airbnb rooms!). Lucky for us we came across the Seaglass Village Cottage Rentals! The booking process was very easy, communication was prompt and clear, and the logistics for checking in and out worked out smoothly. The community overall was very pleasant and well maintained. While we didn't interact with anyone else directly or use any of the available common facilities (due to pandemic-related reasons), we got the sense that the residents seem to have a great sense of community (we did get several waves when getting in and out of the property!) - which we appreciated! The 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath, cottage itself was adorable! It looked impeccably cleaned, tidied and decorated! We found that the furnishings, available gadgets, and layout worked very well for the 3 of us. Over our 3 day-2night stay, we enjoyed the living room immensely! It was great to lounge+relax+recharge, and spend quality time as a family - we loved playing several board games there! Major aspects offered that decided our selection: the bedding and towels were provided in sealed packaging coming directly from the cleaners. We had the whole cottage to ourselves. The other cottages were located far apart enough that we didn't have to worry about social distancing issues. These were big-ticket, must-haves for us! A couple of minor hiccups: it was not clear whether the golf cart that was parked at the property was actually available for our use. We didn't have any intention of using it (since as I mentioned, we were not going to use any of the facilities due to COVID), but, we did wonder about it if the circumstances had been different. Also, the address for the property didn't show up properly on google maps (it put us on the right street, but, was quite off from the actual entrance). We found it fairly easily afterward though, but, for a moment there, it was a bit confusing. Overall, though, our experience was excellent and we were so happy to have found this property, which made our much-needed getaway possible (while still giving us as much peace of mind about COVID exposure!). Coming back to stay there will definitely be at the top of our list whenever we plan another trip to Maine!"
