"RENTERS BEWARE! I rented from Audra after graduating college and moving to Saco (2020-2021). The process of getting into the apartment was a nightmare. Audra was very rude to us from the get-go, which should have been our first red flag. Rent was due on the 15th of each month, meaning she could legally charge late fees if rent wasn't deposited on the 1st. A few months in, she came to "check the thermostat" but proceeded to walk through the entire apartment without permission. Following this incident, I had to call her so she could take care of the mold in the shower, to which she refused to admit it was actually mold. Six months into my lease, I discussed with Audra the possibility of breaking the lease due to the heightened risk of spreading COVID to my roommate because of my job. She agreed to work with me if I helped her find another tenant. I let her know I had not spoken to my roommate yet but wanted to see if breaking the lease was at all a possibility. She immediately called my roommate and told her she had five days to find another roommate or she would be liable for the entirety of the rent. Audra ended up claiming she would sue me if I didn't keep my lease, despite her previous claims. Of course the relationship with my roommate was soured and I stopped living at the apt 4 months before the lease ended, while simultaneously still paying rent. During this period of time, Audra accused me of letting my boyfriend park in the parking lot every night. She told him she would be checking the parking lot "every 15 minutes" to make sure he wasn't parked there - if he was, she claimed she would call the police. Mind you, he travels for work and we had been a few states away for a couple months at this point. My boyfriend felt very threatened and considered filing a report. Despite what her lease and Maine law states, I did not receive my security deposit until 2 months after my lease ended. While I could pursue legal action, I felt writing a review would be more effective. BEWARE of SACO RIVER ASSOCIATES!"

"Horrible place . Mold in shower, mice running around in rooms. Staff is rude and just plain horrible to the tennant's. They get away with pocketing cash and charging fees that are not in contract. Charge people for not wearing a face mask in hallway. It's more like a prison than a hotel. BECAUSE ITS A HOTEL AND NOT AND APARTMENT LEASE. They snoop around your room when you are away. Someone needs to create a lawsuit against this establishment. NEGATIVE STARS. PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND INVESTIGATED."

"Rude and disrespectful..... miss one appointment because I was told to go to a white house but the house wasn't even white. Tried calling while trying to locate the right house. I then rescheduled for the following Tuesday. I called and had to cancel that appointment....sent an email 3 times to cancel the Tuesday showing. Claimed that i was a no show. Very rude and disrespectful....terrible, bad experience.....go elsewhere. Beware of Audra......she is rude."

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS CO. Had a terrible experience while apartment searching. Put in a lot of work and effort to get an apartment only to be dismissed. Their employees (Anastasia and female answering phones) reflect their business and they were rude, sloppy, lazy, and disgusting. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and consumer protection."

"It is not a bad place to live for a short time but definitely not long term. They provide a mini fridge and you can have a microwave but you have to bring your own. They do not allow pet's of any kind as well as any other cooking devices other than the microwave and there's no kitchen here."
