River Bar

"They didn't have any vegan options, so my friend had to have literally a pile of leaves. No other veggies, from what I recall. They didn't even have dressing for it. It was just dry leaves. Our server was great, though. He never seemed annoyed by us, and even when I asked why the mushroom toast couldn't be made vegan he knew why off the top of his head. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive! I had checked the menu the night prior, and there were one or 2 options that seemed like they could be changed into something vegan, but literally the day we went happened to be a menu change and they took away those options! The mushroom toast wasn't even amazing, and the topping is pre-mixed and not made-to-order. I'd still go back for the atmosphere, but if you're looking for something super awesome this isn't it. River Bar could be so much better. At least the server was great! I think his name is Josh. (: If he hadn't provided as good of service as he did, I don't think I'd be willing to go back for a very long time. I'm a server myself, so I thoroughly appreciate and understand good service."

"I’ve been here several times. Beautiful spot however this last time was not a good experience. The bartender was not attentive to the customers at all. Her friends were at the bar and they seemed to be the only people getting service. The music was way too loud and it felt uncomfortable. We won’t be back."

"Came in on a cold Thurs night and was happy to find the warmers were on full blast - it was so cozy! Kim Mica and Josh - the manager and bartenders- were so much fun and welcoming. This is the perfect place for after dinner or post shopping drinks!"

"The food was 2 stars but the server was very nice and accommodating, hence the 3 star review. The shrimp appetizer was $18 for 6 tiny shrimp that were poorly seasoned and barely grilled. The shrimp tacos had almost no seasoning. The chicken wings were under done and dry. The pizza ("flatbread") was the best item but not impressive. The Diet Coke my wife got was very watery. Would not recommend other than it's a nice ambience."
