"I agree with the other reviews mentioned here. The management is terrible!! If you care about your hard-earned money, this is not the place for you. The lease is written in a way that they will deduct from your security deposit, no matter what you do! To start with, the lease has a cleaning clause, where they ask you to clean the apartment and leave it in an “immaculate” condition before vacating. We got our apartment professionally cleaned before vacating, but they still deducted $225 from our security deposit saying that it was not “good enough”! The management sent me a picture of one strand of hair in one corner of the apartment to prove their point of the apartment not being “clean enough”. Second, they deducted $1500 from our deposit for a scratch on the wooden floor and sent a shady invoice to justify the cost (which said payment made = $0). When we asked them to send a receipt to show that they had made the payment to the vendor, they said “The work has not been done yet and it will be done when the current tenant is on vacation”, which is ridiculous! Reading the other reviews here makes me feel that we may never get our money back because the management is shady! Now, let's talk about the apartments. For the amount that they charge, the apartments are poorly designed. There is not enough closet space for 2 people. Most of the storage in the kitchen is inaccessible. My height is 5’6” but I was still not able to access most of the cabinets because of the poor design. The water is bad!! Our water faucets in the washroom would often have mold and the water itself would make the washroom fittings black. They charge $250 for garage parking and $80 for heated parking space. If you can’t pay this premium price, you need to park at the train station. But, for these apartments they will charge you premium price! I have stayed at so many rentals both in NH and MA and this has been the worst renting experience so far. I do not recommend staying here at all."

"I would not recommend leasing an apartment for several reasons. The quality of the apartments are poor, it was a cob job at best. For examples, the fireplaces can only be used if the window is open, and that is if you can even get yours to turn on. The primary problem is management. I lived there for two years and was nothing short of an excellent tenet. My rent was pain in full and always on time and I never caused any issues or disturbances. When it came time to move out I emailed the staff to let them know I was moving. They very kindly agree to let me out of my lease a month early, which I still am very grateful for. Prior to moving they sent a cleaning list of all the things that needed to be clean, which included things like pulling out the stove and fridge and cleaning around and behind. In addition to that, they make you pay for a professional carpet cleaner, which cost me 75 dollars for a very small one bed with carpet only in the bedroom. Unlike every other apartment building I have lived in, they refuse to do a walk thru inspection prior to move out. I suspect they do this to swindle even more money from the tenets. Prior to handing in my keys I deep cleaned the apartment. The only thing I did not do was pull out the appliances as I was physically not able to do so. I took pictures of the apartment for my own records. A few weeks later, I followed up with management as I had not gotten my security deposited back. I was told I t was being sent out and I did receive it a few days later. I was very surprised to see that 250 dollars had been subtracted from the original amount. Included, was a hand written and photo copied list of things that a cleaner had to clean prior to me moving out. They charged 50/hr and claimed it took 4.5 hours to clean. In fact there were even cleaning items in the hand written list that are included in the cleaning list included in the lease. I reached out to management and was immediately met with unprofessional behavior, disrespect, dishonestly, among others. I asked on several occasions for a receipt showing they paid the cleaner r the 300 dollars, which they refused to provide. Moreover when confronted about being charged for time spent cleaning items not on the leases cleaning list, they conveniently did not address my concern. After several back and forth emails, they offered to send me 150 back, which I agreed to. However weeks went by and I had not received the check. During the time I sent several emails and left a voicemail. Finally, they responded and basically said that I didn’t word my email the way they wanted it so they did not send the check. Again extremely unprofessional and obscene behavior. I believe that there are unethical and illegal practices going on. I am in touch with the better business bureau and an attorney to look into this further. Other things to note: the train is right up the road which is convenient but very noisy. My unit faced in the direction of the train, and I could hear the horn during the late night hours, often waking me up. There is a common room in the lobby, which as a closet in it where there should be a sink. They never finished it. There is retail space in both buildings however the space in 200 is unfinished and a total eye sore. When it snows, you have to move your car, which they have horrible communication around when cars need to be moved. The walls are very thin and you can hear neighbors regularly. Overall, I would not recommend this apartment community and the problem lies with the two people who manage it. Their behavior is unprofessional and disgusting. If I could give 0 stars I would."

"Looks may be deceiving. From the outside it looks like Rivers’ Mark is a beautiful, modern apartment building. Live there for a day, and something will be sure to break/leak, likely because they cut costs on finishes and did a shoddy job on installations. Units require windows to be open when the fireplace is in use — what a joke! Not worth the cost. I echo the other negative comment about management and fabricated “cleaning” costs. A TOTAL lemon."

"Nice place to live but the management is terrible and they’ll keep your security deposit and say they had to “clean” everything, so take pictures before you move out. There’s a reason they don’t do walk-thrus with the tenants upon moving out… Just beware and don’t expect to be treated like a customer, they’ll make sure they text you and wake you up every weekend morning to move your car when it snows out too."
