"I enjoyed my tattoo experience at Forty Six and Two from beginning to end. And I love the result, too. The studio was clean, convenient, with a gallery of many of the tattoos they’ve done. Vaughn was welcoming and put me right at ease. I was getting my first tattoo in honor of turning 65 and becoming a grandmother. After checking around the area, I decided on Forty Six and Two for nearby location, good reviews, and good information on the website. The process to request a time/day and what kind of tattoo was easy, including emailing a possible image. Vaughn met me at the studio and showed me his renderings, from more simple to elaborate. He explained about the process as he wiped down equipment, giving me a guestimate of time – around 2 hours. There was no pain at all, except for an occasional prick. We chatted the whole time through, and it made the time fly. The aftercare instructions are clear and I have had zero issues with healing. I found Vaughn to be very personable, a talented and experienced artist, and knowledgeable about many subjects – including history of tattoo art in US. It was truly a pleasure to meet him and get my first tattoo!"

"My cousin and I got matching tattoos by Vaughn and we LOVE how they turned out!! I sent him the design I wanted and he helped customize the bits that I wanted to tweak. He cleaned his station thoroughly between our sessions (though my cousin and I joked that our blood is the same anyway). He was extremely likable and conversational, and he made our session feel both professional AND fun. His father, the other tattoo artist, was also very funny and friendly. They both made the experience so enjoyable and we felt well taken care of. I’ve gotten tattooed elsewhere before, but Forty-Six and 2 is where I’ll be returning to for all future tattoos. We couldn’t recommend them more highly, though we’re only allowed 5 stars. It’d be more accurate to say 500 stars. THANK YOU!!"
