"So far Dr. Taggart has been effective and efficient, his receptionist who handles billing is another story. I was phoned about a prior authorization to use this clinic from her. I needed one because I normally use the Veterans Administration for my primary healthcare needs, yes I am a disabled veteran. I have never been treated with so much ire and disrespect for not understanding the process of seeking outside care. I broke my leg on a weekend and had to go to the ER, I was referred to SMHC ortho by the ER, the VA agreed to let them handle continued care. Never had anyone said anything about prior authorization, until I got the most disgusting and vile woman on the phone I’ve ever had the displeasure of talking to. If you believe that someone who served this country deserves to be treated like garbage, this is the place for you."

Claimed that despite my prior doctor informing me I had a fracture that needed 4-6 weeks to heal and me still not being able to move my thumb that I actually didn't have a fracture and didn't need to do anything. This office seems to do the bare minimum required to get paid and not really care about patients, their health, or their medical needs."

They not only gave her the BEST cast I’ve ever seen but they went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was happy with her cast and felt comfortable. Everyone was so nice and took great care of her!"
