"Working as a field guide at Summit Achievement changed my life, and I watched as it changed the lives of many students who stepped foot in the classrooms at Summit and on the trails. I watched young people with trauma, depression, anxiety, and prior addictions regain control over their lives by spending time in nature and working with licensed therapists throughout their time in the program. I witnessed these students so bravely face their mental health challenges and overcome the pain that was weighing them down. I watched as they learned how to trust themselves, and their treatment plan, as they began to have hope in their futures. Wilderness therapy can change young people’s lives for the better, but they first have to want to heal, no one can force them to be ready for something they are not ready for. Summit Achievement provides a safe place for students to navigate their healing journey and equips them with the tools needed to excel in life moving forward."

"Most unprofessional experience, I think I have ever encountered. The under qualified “guides”, who work at summit; are still struggling with their own issues. How are they supposed to help the adolescents’ they are working with, if they are struggling as well. This program is not what it used to be, yet it costs almost ten thousand more per month than it did, back when it used to be a decent program. The change in programming has really taken a DOWNHILL.. FAST"
