The staff at the med clinic are professional and willing to coordinate with case managers and clinicians to get clients needs met. The building is lovely and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. "It is very surprising to see such a negative review about Maine Behavioral Health Organization, if in fact, this is the correct organization. During my time of need, I have found MBHO are willing to go above and beyond to help someone. Recently, I had run out of medications because I had left a facility. They were able to get me into the med clinic to see one of the nurses who prescribes medications. I found that the nurse practitioner was very easy to work with, took an interest in my treatment, and reviewed my vitals to screen for any health issues I might have. I was educated on health risks, offered smoking cessation, and referred to other services that might be of great continuous benefit. Additionally, I did not have the money to pay for co-payments and I was provided with samples until my insurance became active. I have a case manager, who worked with me under a grant, and was able to assist with housing, counseling, medications, etc. I am very truly grateful for the folks that work at Maine Behavioral Health Organization, and I would most certainly refer my friends and family there for treatment if they should ever need it."
