"My husband rented a place for us to stay so we could be close to our kids’ high school alpine State races. Two days before our rental, we were told the owners had cleared any reservations, but no one had told us. The woman running the rentals was not always prompt in responding, and getting details was difficult as she seemed to be distracted by personal activities. My husband had to reach out to her several times for responses. While she did find us another place, farther away, the kitchen and bathroom were not clean, and the decor overhead was covered in years of dust. We wiped grease from the counter and stove, the door of the fridge was full of other peoples’ condiments, there was no sand on the very icy driveway, and there was green/brown mildew that we cleaned from around the bathroom faucet. I reached out to the woman running Rangeley Vacation rentals before writing this review and never heard back. We will not use this agency again."
