"I had searched on maps for "magazines near me" and Market Street Bookstore at Mashpee Commons came up first. My mother and I are both handicapped and use rollaters to help us walk. This store is NOT handicapped friendly. We worked our way through the little shop but couldn't find any magazines. I stopped at the checkout desk to ask about magazines and how I had found this store. She said they didn't have magazines and got upset that she (her store) didn't know she was on the internet. She became rude towards us as I tried to explain how I found her store. We left in a hurry before she got any madder. Obviously I won't be back!"

"The owner, Cynthia, gave us recommendtions for four books, three of which she'd already sold out of. That to me is the mark of a great bookseller, someone who prefers to see good books do well over her own bottom line. Plus she was delightful to chat with."

"Sweet little bookstore in town. Love going through and seeing what’s available. Prices seem to be normal although we didn’t buy anything, just looked through. No one greeted us or came to check in, no one else in the store but all is well on a slow day."

"This bookstore is a gem! The owner took her time to recommend titles to my sister and I, and explain why. She even unearthed some additional literature based on our choices. Her love for books is infectious. When we left the store I felt like we had made a friend. While their selection is not yet at 100% (she is still gathering more titles) I could have spent hours looking though those shelves. She had something for everyone. I think this stop was worth the trip!"
