"My husband and I were so happy to have found a doctor's office were they are caring and patient here at pines health center it's more like a family member coming to see family or visiting a friend so much more welcoming and comfortable there I actually enjoyed my doctors visit for once as oddly as that sounds it's true.. Great place to go for a doctor's visit or to make it your permanent doctors."
"My experience is very similar to the other one star comments. I should add, however, that even the people answering the phones are rude and dismissive. And whatever you do, don't trust the Caribou Medical Center surgical dept. Do a little investigating and you will find they've lost plenty of patients undergoing routine surgical procedures. Imagine you or your loved one going in for a colonoscopy or some other so-called routine procedure and you or they die during the procedure. Not even to mention the wise guy boomer hating millennials and younger employees. Hate to say it, but they seem to hate us. What has happened to America? Decent health care is hard to find up here, but I'm sure as heck looking somewhere else. Somewhere where I will be respected as a human being with an experienced and interested doctor. Wish I could say better, but I can't."
"I have a brain tumor with 20 symptoms, stress induced platonic seizures, along with many other medical issues. I received horrible care. Would never receive a phone call back from my voicemails. Never got my medications filled so try primary care made me stop three medications cold Turkey that was very important. Refused to refill them. Talked to multiple others in pines to get someone to refills my meds and get me an appointment and got absolutely nowhere with that. They said they would put a messgae through to my primary care doctor and would never here anything from there. Talked to office managers, boss, HR, nurses, and many others and they didn't help at all. Been fighting to get my medical records for so long and my new doctors has not received them. I have needed appointments, my medications straightened out, blood work and more and can't get that because pines still has not sent my medical records. So, for anyone that has anything past a cold I do not suggest Pines at all. They will watch you suffer and decline with a severe medical case before doing their job. But, they act nice on the phone and say they will do something then never hear a thing. I could go on and on about this place but I will stop here. To sum it up, I have declined significantly because of lines in presque isle."
"I've called several times about my husband being immobile for 14 weeks...the best they can do is tell you to wait 12 more weeks for pain management... can't even figure out what is wrong with him...I'm about to call a lawyer for non treatment and at best no one actually cares... just another place showing up for a paycheck"
"First off, I'm not a Pines patient. I'm not against Pines- so take this input from an outsider looking in. I have been calling all morning trying to get some info from the Presque Isle Office. I have called more then 10 times from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, the phone rang and rang. No person, no machine. I was so frustrated. With Pines being a health office, one should only assume that they would have someone to answer the in-coming calls or at very least a recording of some sort to leave a message. What would have happened if I was a patient and I was having some issues with a medication, needed to cancel/make an appointment, What if I was Provider trying to get a hold of one of the Providers/nurses at Pines? I feel the convenience was not where it should be for patients. At least for the safety of the patients they should have some kind of answering service. But that being said, when I finally did get a hold of someone in the office, they were very helpful, polite, and very understanding to my needs."
