"Update: lighthouse local reached out and provided an opportunity to get the flavors we wanted to try. These desserts are top notch. I want to first start off by saying the donuts themselves are delicious. I wish i could give this place a 5 star as the donuts deserve that. However, customer service definitely plays a big part in this review. My first time coming here I waited patiently in line for my turn to order. As it was my turn next, i step up to the counter and am waiting for someone to take my order, another couple comes in, walks right up to the register and orders the last of the two flavors I was going to order, totally skipping the line all together. I brushed it off and decided to try a different flavor. I asked the lady who took my order and she mentioned the best way to secure the flavors you want is to call ahead. The second time visiting this place I called ahead to place my order and drove all the way there only to find out that they had “put my donuts aside and someone else must have sold them” and that they were done making donuts for the day. Again, I left with flavors I didn’t want and still had to pay for them even after their mistake. I understand places get busy, but this is terrible customer service. The employees clearly do not work together, do not communicate with each other, or off first come first served."

"My review disappeared so here’s the short version: high priced, no prices listed, average selection and quality/taste for the price. Service good but they weren’t busy on a Sunday morning. Coffee way to sweet (pumpkin spice) should have told me it was pre sweetened when I asked for suar packets on the side. Lucky for me I tasted it before adding more sugar because it was VERY OVERLY SWEET. They have a cute gift shop, sell cheese and also pasta salads and the assorted grocery deli foods. Nice atmosphere but they should concentrate on doing one thing and doing it with excellence. Wish I could rate more stars. I believe in supporting small local businesses. Even four stars would make it worth a return visit."

"My husband and I chose Bird Food Baking Co to do the desserts for our wedding this past weekend. We got a bunch of donuts, cupcakes and our wedding cake from Trina and her team with Bird Food Baking Co. The desserts were stunning - I was so excited as soon as I saw them and couldn’t wait to try them. Trina and team made it so easy to order and pickup, and helped a ton in terms of quantity and menu selection. Her creativity is next level and these desserts were incredible - they tasted amazing. We had so many people asking how they could get more and why we didn’t order more! We ordered cupcakes, donuts and cake. They tasted even better than they looked. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"This is my favorite bakery and I am so pleased that they have partnered with Bird Food Baking! The donuts are the shining star, the thing that draws in patrons from miles away. The flavors change daily and you will want to go back every chance you get to check out the selection. Not only are they some of the best donuts I've ever had, they're beautiful enough to display front and center on the brunch table. Even if donuts aren't your thing, you will be blown away by the selection of desserts here - and everything tastes SO GOOD. The cookies are hefty with mix ins, pop tarts here are a million times better than any boxed pastry, and please try a kolache even if you don't know what it is because it's one of the greatest things I've eaten. They offer sandwiches that look delicious, but I've been too full from baked goods to try them yet. There are many local products sold here as well, like maple syrup and jewelry. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful...I have nothing but praise. Just go here!"
