"Have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to tonight. We were craving breakfast for dinner and each got a scrambler bowl (husband got steak and cheese, I got the greek) and shared a side of Mac and cheese (my craving). Food was absolutely delicious and SO fresh! I also got an iced pomegranate green tea and my husband got a campfire shake - both were so good and I was impressed they even toasted the marshmallow in the shake! Will definitely be back again."

Delicious, fresh food offerings, friendly and kind staff, and a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. I will definitely be back! Also, their book selection is phenomenal and extremely well balanced between non-fiction, fiction and children’s books. Such a sweet spot!"

"This is such a fantastic place! I moved away from Worcester right around the time Root and Press first opened so I never got to try it, but I was in the area and suggested getting brunch here with my mom. We both got breakfast sandwiches, I got the avocado melt with egg, bacon and cheese. It was huge, flavorful and so filling! The home fries were also so crispy and tasty. We got the mixed berry lemonade and an oreo milkshake and they were both incredibly good. The employees were so friendly and efficient, the food came out quickly despite the place being super busy. It's a small establishment so it's best for visiting on your own or with one friend, but the atmosphere, book selection, and food is awesome. I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area!"
